In this video, Roland shows you how to prepare the following:

(1) Basic Chilli Oil
(2) Cold Tofu with Century Eggs & Pork Floss
(3) Hand-smashed Spicy Cucumber Salad
(4) Pork Dumplings in Spicy Sauce

The basic chilli oil is commonly used in many Chinese dishes, especially in Sichuan cuisine. This oil can be used as an ingredient for cooking or as a condiment/ dip for meat and dim sum. We recommend you to make a batch of the chilli oil ahead of time so that you can use it to whip up a yummy meal.

Cold Tofu with Century Eggs & Pork Floss is a really wonderful dish that can be easily made at home. In fact, you don’t even need a stove to prepare this. Everything is store-bought and this dish is easily assembled within 10 minutes. For maximum enjoyment, please leave the tofu in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before digging in.

Hand-smashed Spicy Cucumber (手拍黄瓜 )is quite a popular dish in Chinese restaurants such as Ding Tai Fung. Just like the tofu dish, putting this dish together requires very little effort, especially if you already have ready-to-use chilli oil at home. This cucumber salad is also best eaten cold.

Last but not least, the pork dumplings in spicy sauce or 红油抄手 is also a popular Chinese dish. You can make the dumplings ahead in time. Just freeze them until you want to eat them. It’s that simple!

Refer to the ingredient list below & watch our step-by-step video for your easy reference.
