Homemade Egg Tofu with Crispy Sweet Radish // 自制蛋豆腐
Tofu with crispy sweet radish was made popular recently when one of the chze char chefs made it available to the public. The first time I had this, I was very impressed with this new way of enjoying tofu. We were looking for a rectangular shaped egg tofu but to no avail so we decided to make our own. Much to our surprise, egg tofu is really easy to make and really yummy too.

Serves 3 – 4 person
Marinating Ingredients for homemade tofu
400ml unsweetened soya bean milk
A pinch of salt
Topping for Tofu
100 – 150g Sweet Radish
Gravy for Tofu
2 – 3 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame seed oil
1 tablespoon Shaoxing Huatiao cooking wine
1 teaspoon Haochi seasoning powder
1 dried scallop – soaked and shredded (keep the soaking water)
1 tablespoon sugar
Add water per your desire (depending on how much gravy you want)
some cornstarch solution
